The Good Shepherd National School is a co-educational national school in the parish of Churchtown. In 1989, the pupils and staff of Our Lady of Loreto Girls and De La Salle Boys joined together to form the new school which was named the Good Shepherd National School. it opened in the old De La Salle building on the 1st of September with a staff of 12. In the intervening years our school has gone from strength to strength and now has a staff of 40 ensuring a quality education for all pupils.

As outlined in our Mission Statement, the Good Shepherd NS is a Catholic primary school which welcomes all religions and nationalities. We encourage the uniqueness of each child and aim to ensure the physical,emotional,moral and spiritual wellbeing of all pupils.
